Crédit Agricole hires senior FX options trader

Paul Mahoney, an executive director in foreign exchange options at Banco Santander, has left the firm to join Crédit Agricole in a similar position.

He will be a senior FX options trader, based in New York, reporting to Richard Bailey, global head of non-linear FX trading. He started the role last week.

Mahoney had worked at Santander for two years, covering G10 and Latin American currencies. He joined from Credit Suisse, where he held a similar role between 2007 and 2009.
