Standard Chartered brings in e-FX sales head

Robert Gomprecht, a former electronic foreign exchange sales director at Societe Generale, has joined Standard Chartered as head of e-FX sales for the Americas.

New York-based Gomprecht, who reports to Michelle Wee, global head of e-sales in Singapore, started his new role on March 23.

He had been put at risk of redundancy at SocGen towards the beginning of this year, along with Leon Brown, in FX e-commerce sales, Paolo Sorio, a director, and Stephane Malrait, global head of e-commerce for FX
