Equinix opens LD6 in Slough
Company opens sixth data centre in London
Global data centre company Equinix opened its sixth facility in London on April 16.
The purpose-built LD6 is the firm's third data centre to be located on the Slough campus and is the latest addition to its more than 100-strong stable of facilities around the world.
The firm also opened new data centres in Singapore, Melbourne, Toronto and New York.
The initial phase of LD6 is 8,000 square metres in size, with capacity for 1,385 cabinets and the ability to add another 1,385 in phase two.
