Former EBS Market co-head joins Currenex

John Schoen, former co-head of EBS Market, has joined State Street-owned foreign exchange platform Currenex as managing director of product development.

Based in New York, he reports to Rick Schonberg, senior managing director and global head of product for trading and clearing, and North America head of trading solutions.

Schoen relocated from London to begin his new role on May 18, after spending more than six months out of the industry. He left EBS Market with co-head Nichola Hunter and was
