Burrell leaves Citi to join buy side

Tom Burrell, a G10 FX options trader, has left US bank Citi to join buy-side firm Citadel, working with his former boss at Barclays, Gugesh Guganeswaran, who joined Citadel as a portfolio manager in November 2013.

Burrell joined Citi in June 2013, after more than six years at Barclays as an FX options trader between February 2007 and April 2013. At Citi, he reported to Chirag Patel, a managing director and global head of FX flow options.
