On the map for 2016: better outlook for EM

With the cloud of uncertainty surrounding the Federal Reserve's policy about to be lifted, the outlook for emerging markets (EM) currencies and assets look generally better going into 2016, said panellists at the FX Week Europe conference.

The panellists agreed the big falls in EM currencies were now in the past and that, as the Fed normalises its policy rate, increasing opportunities would arise in non-G10 currencies. They also cautioned these opportunities may differ widely within the emerging
