Emerging market (EM) currencies in the trade-related foreign exchange ecosystem around China are likely to rally significantly, on growing hopes for a US-China trade truce, says Peter Rosenstreich, head of market strategy at Swissquote Bank.

The Thai baht and the Indonesian rupiah could be among the biggest risers, while the Australian dollar might also benefit from the prospect of a positive outcome to the trade
