RBC Capital Markets: Chile hot in 2010

Overall, RBC analysts are bullish the Chilean peso over the medium term, as they believe newly elected president Sebastian Piñera's ambitious reform agenda could boost both portfolio and foreign direct investment (FDI), while increasing the country's growth potential. Additionally, they believe rising interest rates, rebounding commodities, copper demand from China, strong growth and the potential paring down of restrictions on foreign investments in local markets should all be peso-positive.
