Firms will begin to understand regulation's impact on business

As regulation continues to take hold in 2016 and market participants begin to understand its full impact, the fixed-income, commodities and currency (Ficc) sector could undergo further change.

"I think at the beginning of 2015, [regulation] wasn't fully understood, and as we wrap up 2015 it is still not completely understood, but next year people can talk about the impact in terms of their daily experiences with the market," says Phil Weisberg, managing director at Thomson Reuters.
