Bank of America has recruited Richard Hill from Tigon Treasury Management as its new chief spot dealer in London, confirms Paul Chappell, global head of foreign exchange for the bank. Hill, who was a director and shareholder of Tigon, a foreign exchange fund manager with $25 million under management, had previously been with Barclays Bank for 22 years, where he was latterly head of global FX proprietary trading.

Hill will manage the majors and EMS desks, minors and exotics, plus the market
