Sales head quits RBS

Market sources have told FX Week Stefano Lupi quit his job in London last Tuesday (November 10). He is rumoured to have accepted an offer from Spanish bank Santander, though it is not yet known what his role will be there.

Lupi has been at RBS for six years, having joined from Merrill Lynch to work in FX sales to Italian clients (FX Week, June 30, 2003). He took on the bank's sales chief job following the acquisition of ABN Amro last year (FX Week, April 21, 2008).
