CIBC hires Tan from WestLB in Hong Kong
Soo Chin Tan has joined Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) in Hong Kong as executive director in foreign exchange trading. Tan joins locally from WestLB, where she worked in derivatives and fixed-income trading.
At CIBC, Tan will focus on growth market currencies in Asia, reporting jointly to Duncan Rule, managing director and co-head of fixed income and currencies in Toronto, and Andre LaJeunesse, managing director and head of capital markets trading, Asia.
