Morgan Stanley loses European e-commerce head

Jeremy Smart, managing director and European head of fixed-income electronic trading at Morgan Stanley in London, has resigned from the bank.

Smart joined Morgan Stanley in 2005, having previously been a senior member of the foreign exchange electronic commerce team at Deutsche Bank for eight years.

In his most recent role at Morgan Stanley, Smart had responsibility for electronic distribution in credit and rates in Europe, and also helped to drive the bank's response to regulatory change with
