CME hires senior FX trader in London

CME Group has appointed Malcolm Baker as a director in its foreign exchange business, a spokesman for the exchange has confirmed.

Based in London, Baker will report locally to Will Patrick, senior director for FX products, and will be responsible for promoting the company's new derivatives exchange, which was announced in August and is due to launch in London next year.

Prior to joining CME, Baker spent more than three years as a strategist and trader at Source Capital in Zug, Switzerland
