EBS appoints head of market surveillance

Simon Friend, a former senior associate in the transaction monitoring unit at the UK Financial Services Authority (FSA), has joined EBS as head of market surveillance, the platform announced today.

Based in London, Friend is responsible for leading the development of EBS market surveillance and enforcement. He reports locally to Nichola Hunter and John Schoen, who were recently appointed co-heads of EBS Market, the new name for the anonymous EBS platform.
