BNP Paribas emerging markets strategy head departs

The bank's FX, rates and credit EM head leaves for the buy side

Bartosz Pawlowski, global head of emerging markets strategy for foreign exchange, rates and credit at BNP Paribas, is set to leave the bank to join hedge fund Finisterre Capital.

Based in London, Pawlowski has been responsible for a team of emerging market strategists across London, New York, São Paulo, Singapore, Istanbul and Hong Kong.

He has been at BNP Paribas since 2009 when he joined as head of strategy for central and eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa (Ceemea). Pawlowski was in
