The lack of volatility that has dominated global financial markets in 2014 is set to persist this summer. However, even if the G-10 currency market is quiet as it awaits the first divergence in central bank policy-making, there are still opportunities among emerging market (EM) currencies, say FX strategists.

In Latin America (LatAm), a market dominated by fixed income and bonds, currencies are more susceptible to any movement in US Treasury yields, particularly over the medium to long term
