Smooth take-off for collateral reporting

August 12 deadline met without serious issues

Trade repositories have experienced a relatively pain-free start to collateral and trade-valuation reporting, which began under the European Markets Infrastructure Regulation (Emir) on August 12, although the implementation of these new rules continues to fragment delegated reporting relationships between banks and clients.
