HSBC appoints FX sales head for Hong Kong

Peadar Ward returns to market in Asia

Peadar Ward, a former managing director in Goldman Sachs's macro asset sales business, has resurfaced at HSBC after more than a year out of the market.

Based in Hong Kong, Ward has joined as head of institutional foreign exchange sales for Hong Kong, reporting to Tony Shaw, head of institutional FX and flow rates for the Asia-Pacific region.

Ward took time out of the market for personal reasons when he left Goldman Sachs in March 2013. He had worked at the US bank for more than a decade
