Gaborow exits Nomura and rejoins Blum

Richard Gaborow, executive director and portfolio manager in the principal strategies group at Nomura, has left the bank to join Blue Helm Capital Management.

Based in New Jersey, Gaborow has joined the buy-side firm as a senior portfolio manager. He teams up with his former colleague, chief investment officer Liran Blum, former head of the principal strategies group at Nomura.

Gaborow had worked at the Japanese investment bank for more than two years, having joined from UBS where he was an FX
