Goldman Sachs dismisses FX trader

Frank Cahill, a foreign exchange trader at Goldman Sachs in London, has left the bank following an investigation into his alleged behaviour at his former employer, HSBC.

Goldman Sachs confirmed Cahill's departure. "This relates to a period before he joined Goldman Sachs and he has now left the firm," said a company spokesperson in an emailed statement.

Cahill joined the US bank in 2012. Prior to his two-year career at HSBC, he worked at Barclays since 2007.
