McGowan retires from industry, leaving Barclays

Global head of FX trading makes exit

Adrian McGowan, global head of FX trading at Barclays, is leaving the bank to retire from the industry, people familiar with the matter told FX Week.

His role will be taken over by Robert Bogucki and Nat Tyce as co-heads of macro trading. 

Bogucki is currently head of US macro trading while Tyce is global head of rates trading.

McGowan has held various senior roles at Barclays since 2008. Before he became global head of FX trading in October 2013, he was global head of FX options and forwards
