Societe Generale has reorganised its global markets division and made several senior appointments, effective from May 18, as the French bank seeks to adjust its internal structure to provide clients with a range of multi-asset and advisory services.

Daniel Fields will keep his position as head of global markets. David Escoffier remains as deputy head of the division while also supervising sales teams across the business. Escofier was previously chief executive of Newedge.
