CLS volumes tick lower in April

Both number of instructions and input volumes decline in April

Average daily input volumes submitted to CLS have declined by 10.6% in April compared with the previous month, to stand at 1,194,817 and down from 1,366,042 in March. Meanwhile, the average daily input value submitted to the FX settlement utility was also 9.9% lower, at $2.32 trillion, down from $2.575 trillion in March.

Compared with a year previously, however, the utility has seen its instructions rise from 983,850 in April 2014 and its input values stay nearly flat, as average daily input
