Scharf joins DTCC as chief security officer

Stephen Scharf has joined the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) as chief security officer in New York.

In the newly created role, he will be responsible for technology risk and crisis management, business continuity and physical security.

"Stephen brings to the DTCC over 20 years' experience in information technology, with a 15-year concentration in information security," says Andrew Gray, managing director and group chief risk officer at DTCC.
