Bank of America Merrill Lynch veteran Tony Dalton has joined RJ O'Brien to head up the broker's FX division in New York, after spending more than 14 years at the US dealer.

Dalton first joined Bank of America in 2000, having been a pioneer in FX prime broking (PB) at BZW Securities and ABN Amro. When Bank of America merged with Merrill Lynch in 2009, he became a key player in the combined PB business of the two banks, and was promoted in March 2010 to global head of FXPB.
