Equinix expands in Singapore
Launches second phase of third facility
Global data-centre company Equinix is launching the second-phase expansion of its third facility in Singapore. The extension of the purpose-built SG3 data centre, the largest in Asia-Pacific, comes hot on the heels of its official opening in March.
Once complete, the second phase will add an additional 2,000 cabinets to SG3, bringing the total to 3,000 at the facility – and to 12,000 across the firm's three centres in Singapore.
