Osborne starts as Scotiabank's chief FX strategist

Shaun Osborne has started in his new position of chief FX strategist at Scotiabank, reporting to Camilla Sutton, head of global FX in the global banking and markets unit.

Canada's third-largest bank hired Toronto-based Osborne in July, after he spent nine years at TD Securities in a similar role.

Prior to that, he was chief currency strategist at Scotia Capital for seven years, and a strategist at MCM Currency Watch between 1992 and 1996.
