Former FX options trader is understood to be heading to Nomura

Scott Rosenthal, a foreign exchange options trader covering emerging markets and the Central, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (Ceema) region, has left Morgan Stanley and is understood to be moving to Japanese bank Nomura.

Rosenthal joined Morgan Stanley in July 2012, and he was responsible for market-making through vanilla and exotic currency options in emerging markets in Ceema.

He previously worked at the bank as a sales and trading summer analyst.

Morgan Stanley declined to comment.
