Icap announces post-merger name

Once the interdealer broker sells its global broking business to Tullett Prebon, the new company will be called Nex Group

Icap has announced it will rename itself Nex Group once the process of selling its global hybrid voice-broking and information business to Tullett Prebon is complete.

The final stage of the transaction is still expected before the end of 2016, almost a year after the historic rival brokers signed a $1.5 billion deal, which included the sale of Icap's associated technology and broking platforms, iSwap and Fusion.
