Bibbey joins HSBC
Citi’s former global head of spot FX takes on newly created role in June
Richard Bibbey, formerly global head of spot FX at Citigroup, has joined HSBC as head of FX cash trading and risk management.
Bibbey will take on the newly created role, which combines the voice and electronic-trading teams in a single unit, on June 20. He will report to Frederic Boillereau, head of global FX and commodities, and head of global markets corporate services.
Bibbey left Citi in March, after spending 18 years at the bank, where he began his career on the short-term interest rate
