Waters leaves transactional FX role at HSBC
Betsy Waters was head of transactional FX, Americas
HSBC has lost Betsy Waters, head of transactional foreign exchange for the Americas, a person familiar with the matter tells FX Week.
Waters held the role since July 2012, managing FX collections and payments. She tells FX Week she will be joining fintech firm, Ripple, whose solutions include cross-currency settlement and FX market-making.
Prior to HSBC, Waters worked in FX e-sales and product management at Deutsche Bank between September 2003 and May 2012. During that time, she engaged in
