Icap has named Seth Johnson as the replacement for outgoing EBS BrokerTec chief executive Gil Mandelzis, who decided to step down in July after four years at the trading platform.

In his new role, Johnson, who was previously head of strategy in Icap's global broking division, will report to Icap chief executive Michael Spencer.
