Corporates expect long-term negative impact of Brexit

45% of corporates domiciled in continental Europe believe Brexit will have a negative impact; with almost 30% of their UK counterparts sharing the sentiment, says a survey by Greenwich Associates

More than one-third of corporates surveyed by financial consultancy Greenwich Associates expect the UK's departure from the European Union (or Brexit) to have a long-term negative impact on their businesses.

Findings from 128 senior executives interviewed by the consultancy in the aftermath of the UK's June referendum reveal an overall gloomy sentiment about Brexit, and a doubling of the number of UK firms that revised their hedging policies as a result of the vote.
