Berntsen replaces Rojas as Americas CEO at StanChart
As Rojas moves on, Bernsten will also head up corporate and institutional banking for the Americas
Standard Chartered has appointed Torry Berntsen as chief executive and head of corporate and institutional banking for the Americas, effective on October 6. He replaces Julio Rojas, who is leaving the bank to pursue other opportunities.
New York-based Berntsen will report to both Tracy Clarke, regional chief executive for Europe and the Americas, and Simon Cooper, chief executive of corporate and institutional banking. Along with developing and delivering StanChart's strategy across the region
