Bo Bjurgert, a director at non-bank market-maker Virtu, has left the company, sources have told FX Week.

Bjurgert's departure follows closely behind the exit of John Shay, who traded his executive vice-presidency at Virtu for the role of head of fixed-income and commodities at Nasdaq.

Bjurgert joined Virtu in July 2012, covering exchange-traded funds (ETF), foreign exchange and contracts for difference, and precious metals.
