New direction: based in London, Goulet has worked at HSBC since 2008

Claude Goulet, head of foreign exchange institutional sales at HSBC, has parted ways with the UK bank, sources have told FX Week.

At this juncture it remains unclear whether the post he leaves will be filled or if his responsibilities will be shared between Gideon Frank and Patrick Schartner, the co-heads of macro sales for FX and interest rates.

Based in London, Goulet has worked at HSBC since 2008. He was a senior member of the FX sales team before becoming co-head of FX and commodities sales
