Narasimha replaces Eger as Oanda's chief

The board of directors at online broker Oanda Global Corporation appointed Vatsa Narasimha as chief executive on January 11, replacing Ed Eger.

Narasimha, who joined Oanda in September 2013, has served as chief financial officer, executive vice-president and chief strategy office. Eger will assist with the transition.

Oanda credits Eger's mentorship as the reason why Narasimha has been able to expand the broker's footprint into new sectors and regions, streamline and automate operations, and
