Unfair removal: Baris Ozkaptan was fired following a global regulatory probe into the FX markets

Baris Ozkaptan, a former foreign exchange trader ousted by Citigroup following the benchmark manipulation scandal, has won his unfair dismissal case, marking the fourth victory against the bank by former employees who contested losing their jobs.

On February 23, a London employment tribunal ruled in Ozkaptan's favour in his unfair dismissal case – the fifth brought against the US firm, which let numerous employees go in the immediate aftermath of the WM/Reuters benchmark manipulation scandal
