Tom Rae makes the move less than a year after joining Barclays

Morgan Stanley: Tom Rae previously worked at Goldman Sachs and Barclays

Foreign exchange options trader Tom Rae has joined Morgan Stanley after spending less than a year at Barclays, FX Week has learned. 

London-based Rae joined Barclays in 2016, from Goldman Sachs, as part of the UK bank’s FX options desk. He reported to Paul Thirlwall, global head of FX options, who had previously worked at HSBC and joined Barclays in 2015.

Rae spent five years at Goldman Sachs, between 2010 and 2015, as an active trader focusing on G10 FX. He began his career at Goldman Sachs
