Petrov returns to Citi
Anguel Petrov was global head of EMFX options at Société Générale
Anguel Petrov is returning to Citi to trade emerging market (EM) foreign exchange options, after working for nearly seven years at Société Générale, most recently as head of the French bank’s global EMFX options business.
London-based Petrov will report to Chirag Patel, co-global head of FX trading at Citi.
Petrov originally joined Citi in 2007 to trade EM options, before moving to SocGen in 2010.
Previously, he held positions at JP Morgan Chase (1999–2003) in New York and at Lehman Brothers
