Credit Agricole hires Soper as FX options head

Andrew Soper takes up the post, following Steve Rendon's exit in April

Credit Agricole CIB has hired Andrew Soper as global head of foreign exchange options, reporting to Dmitri Shuster, global head of foreign exchange.

Soper, who will be based in London, takes on responsibility for both G10 and emerging markets vanilla and complex FX options products. 

He joined the bank on July 10 from Nomura, where he had been a managing director and global head of G10 options for nearly nine years.

Between November 2006 and September 2008, Soper was head of FX option
