Ed Monaghan, the global head of FX at RBC Capital Markets, is set to retire from the bank effective October 31, sources told FX Week, following a career spanning 25 years at the Canadian bank.

His role will be taken over by Sian Hurrell, currently the head of fixed income and currencies sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa, and she will add Monaghan’s responsibilities to her existing role.
