Analysts Predict 1994 To Be Year For Emerging Markets, Derivatives

Early forecasts for the foreign exchange markets in 1994 are focusing on the global economy at large, rather than some of the individual issues that dominated last year's predictions. Emerging markets in the Far East and Latin America have come into focus much more clearly, as has a shift from outright speculative currency trading, industry analysts say.
