Morgan Stanley leads US bank peers in Q3 Ficc revenues

Unlike other US banks, Morgan Stanley’s Ficc revenues made significant gains on a quarterly and yearly basis

Morgan Stanley is the only major US bank active in the foreign exchange market to have produced positive results in its fixed-income, currencies and commodities (Ficc) business in the third quarter on a quarterly and yearly basis.

Results from its main US rivals were more mixed as all other US banks saw Ficc income falter between the second and third quarters of this year, while all of them saw their revenue edge higher between Q3 2018 and Q3 2019.
