LONDON -- Interbank FX trading on buy-side internet trading portals could revolutionise the FX industry in less than three years, say FX e-commerce professionals.

They were responding to speculation in the FX markets that Atriax, which will launch internet FX trading for corporates in 2001, could eventually host interbank dealing as well. Electronic interbank FX dealing is currently provided by information company Reuters’ suite of dealing products and the EBS Partnership, which is co-owned
