CME Gears Up For CTA/CPO Committee Meeting Average Prices, Large Lots, Position Limits Eyed

Officials at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) will likely be working overtime this month to put the finishing touches on a number of proposals aimed at making the exchange a friendlier place for institutions and Commodity Trading Advisors (CTAs) and Commodity Pool Operators (CPOs) to trade currencies. Two ideas which have piqued the exchange's interest include a large order execution facility (FX Week, March 22) and an average price execution mechanism.
