City bonuses back in different guise

LONDON – Bonuses are creeping back up in London but more workers are seeing a deferred element to their 2010 payouts, reveals a survey released last week (March 17).

According to research from London-based recruitment company Morgan McKinley, 47% of London workers received more money this year, compared with 2008/2009. The key change highlighted by the survey is that 33% of respondents stated part of their bonus was deferred. This is up from 13% last year.
