MFS promotes Robert Manning to chairman

Robert Manning will take over as chairman of Boston-based asset management firm MFS Investment Management on July 1. He will succeed Robert Pozen, who will become chairman emeritus until he retires from the firm at the end of the year.

David Antonelli and Martin Beaulieu will also become vice-chairmen in July. Antonelli joined MFS in 1991 as an international stocks analyst, and served as director of international equity research before being named chief
