Camilla closes record FX trade for Icap’s charity day

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall brokered a $27 billion foreign exchange trade between Barclays and Citi on Icap's London trading floor on Wednesday, which the interdealer broker believes to be the largest FX trade ever.

The royal trade took place to mark Icap's annual charity day, which this year raised a record £12.75 million, up from £12.1 million last year. British singer-songwriter and Grammy award winner Rod Stewart also became an FX trader for the day and closed a $50 million
